Ignorance of Christian Ministers on Prophecies of Zionist Israel

I heard a Christian minister say recently that the problem of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is due to the fact that people "do not recognize the authority of the Bible."  End of story.  And it looked like most people agreed with him, and I was utterly incredulous at the blind ignorance of the church. And so the average American is in complete apathy and ignorance concerning the Palestinians. While the media constantly talks about Hamas as being a terrorist organization, there is a complete lack of knowledge that the state of Israel was founded by Jewish terrorist organizations. The Jewish military had orders to line up civilians and kill them. And so, under such terror from such tactics, there was a mass exodus of Palestinians from their country. And they live in deplorable conditions - Gaza strip is a virtual concentration camp. And while western media deplores the fact that Hamas launches missiles into Israeli territory, there seems to be a lack of concern by certain parties over the Israeli military targeting civilians. They have bulldozed who knows how many acres of land to force Palestinians from their homes, and in one case they bulldozed right over an American activist, Rachel Corrie, crushing her to death. Palestinians have had to resort to such radical methods because the Israeli government have undermined any effort at a Palestinian government or state. This is the source of the conflict, for before the State of Israel existed Palestinians and Jews lived together in peace for centuries.

So while many Palestinians are suffering, without adequate facilities to hospitals and now without electricity, the U.S. Government has pledged $225 million of U.S. taxpayers money - for support of Israel's Iron Dome to protect it from incoming missiles. This is in addition to the $3 billion dollars in foreign aid that Israel receives yearly in U.S. tax payers money. And this is due to the lobbying efforts of AIPAC, who not only lobby the U.S. Government for money, but campaign against any congressional or senatorial leader who takes action that is not in favor with Zionist Israeli policies. And Israel has a very strong media presence, and have propaganda talking points - they will always talk about Israel's "right to defend itself," and yet ignores U.N. resolutions and does not respect the 1967 border agreement. And any criticism of Zionist Israel, apart from Judaism, is also described as "anti-Semitic," another falsehood. It has nothing to do with true Judaism. Moreover, many Muslims are Semitic, and to classify all of them as terrorists is definitely anti-Semitic. These propaganda talking point to the media are described in the article The secret report that helps Israel hide facts. So what about the right of Palestinians to return to their homes and lands taken from them? The article states:
How about the right of return for Palestinian refugees who were expelled or fled in 1948 and in the following years, and who are not allowed to go back to their homes? Here Dr Luntz has subtle advice for spokesmen, saying that "the right of return is a tough issue for Israelis to communicate effectively because much of Israeli language sounds like the 'separate but equal' words of the 1950s segregationists and the 1980s advocates of Apartheid. The fact is, Americans don't like, don't believe and don't accept the concept of 'separate but equal'."
So how should spokesmen deal with what the booklet admits is a tough question? They should call it a "demand", on the grounds that Americans don't like people who make demands. "Then say 'Palestinians aren't content with their own state. Now they're demanding territory inside Israel'." Other suggestions for an effective Israeli response include saying that the right of return might become part of a final settlement "at some point in the future".

What about the deaths of innocent civilians? The article continues:
In a sentence in bold type, underlined and with capitalisation, Dr Luntz says that Israeli spokesmen or political leaders must never, ever justify "the deliberate slaughter of innocent women and children" and they must aggressively challenge those who accuse Israel of such a crime. Israeli spokesmen struggled to be true to this prescription when 16 Palestinians were killed in a UN shelter in Gaza last Thursday.
There is not only media propaganda in the West, but also media censorship. An example of this media censorship concerns the mass protest in New York against Zionist Israel, which was arranged by none other than Orthodox Jews who are against Zionist Israel. It was not mentioned in any English media outlet, except in Russia and Israel. Yes, there are Jews who are against the policies of Zionist Israel, and are urging the U.S. to end its biased and disproportionate support. It is this biased support of Israel which helped lead to the attack of 9-11, but that is something the U.S. Government never explained to the public. For a background on Orthodox Jews who are against the Zionist policies of Israel, here is an excellent interview of a Jewish Rabbi, in Henry Siegman, Leading Voice of U.S. Jewry, on Gaza: "A Slaughter of Innocents":

Are there radical terrorists on the side of the Palestinians? Yes. Does the Israeli military purposely target civilians? Yes. Note that there have been very few civilians deaths on the side of Israel. But the number of civilian deaths on the side of Palestinians has been enormous. But pointing the finger at each other does not help unless the root problem is addressed. While the U.S. always points the finger at Iran regarding nuclear development, it ignores the fact that Israel possesses nuclear weapons. The peace process is a joke, for Israel has one goal in mind: the complete takeover of the lands of Israel, and driving out the original Palestinians who inhabited them. Henry Siegman points out that if the situation was reversed, if most of Israel was owned by the Palestinians, and the Jews were forced to live in ghetto conditions in less than 2% of the land in the Gaza strip, would the world support it? Of course not.

DISTORTING SCRIPTURE TO SUPPORT EVIL POLICIES

So, does the Bible completely justify the actions of Zionist Israel?  Of course not.  Yes, there are prophecies in the Bible which predicted the return of the Jews to Israel.  But these prophecies are symbolic of a higher message: for the Jews are not a chosen race, they are representative of God's chosen people, the spiritual Church - for whoever follows His commandments. These are the true spiritual Jews. And the promised land is not the land of Israel, but rather the true kingdom of God is the kingdom of heaven, which we will enter after we die. The Jewish Messiah is not a coming King to establish a political kingdom, but rather the Messiah is Jesus Christ, whose kingdom on earth is the Church. The Jews under Moses were not ready for these higher spiritual truths, so they were given rituals and prophecies in symbolic form to prepare the spiritual generations of the future. And when the Jews returned to the land of Israel, they had a chance to demonstrate love and kindness to others, but instead have created an apartheid state, where Palestinians have no rights. The problem is, taking the Bible literally in many passages leads to distortions. In a very despicable form of interpretation, the Bible was once used to support the idea of slavery in the U.S. before the Civil War. For an explanation of this, see Why was slavery permitted in the Bible? This kind of distortion can also be seen among radical Muslim clerics, who promote the lie that anyone who participates in jihad will go to heaven, regardless of how they lived their life.

Even so, for those who do not acknowledge the hidden spiritual truths in scripture, the apartheid policies of Zionist Israel go against the commandments of the Torah:
There shall be one law for the native and for the stranger who sojourns among you. (Ex. 12:49)
You shall not wrong a sojourner or oppress him, for you were sojourners in the land of Egypt. (Ex. 22:21)
You shall not oppress a sojourner. You know the heart of a sojourner, for you were sojourners in the land of Egypt. (Ex. 23:9)
When a stranger sojourns with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God. (Lev. 19:33-34)
You shall have the same rule for the sojourner and for the native, for I am the LORD your God. (Lev. 24:22)
One law and one rule shall be for you and for the stranger who sojourns with you. (Num. 15:16)
Love the sojourner, therefore, for you were sojourners in the land of Egypt. (Deut. 10:19)
You shall not abhor an Edomite, for he is your brother. You shall not abhor an Egyptian, because you were a sojourner in his land. (Deut. 23:7)
Cursed be anyone who perverts the justice due to the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’ (Deut. 27:19)
Instead of hearing about love and understanding, all I hear coming out of Israel is revenge and hate. Instead of punishing the responsible parties, they go for an overall collective punishment of the entire population. When the Jews returned to Israel, did they treat the fellow native inhabitants fairly? No they did not.

PROPHECIES OF AN ANTICHRIST IN ISRAEL

If this cycle of violence and hatred continues, we are on the road to fulfill another set of prophecies: an Antichrist figure that will arise in the land of Israel. An Antichrist can be any system of thought or individual that is opposed to the laws of God, and misleads others to follow in that rebellion. So yes, there are prophecies concerning the return of the Jews to Israel, but what about this one:
He shall come into the glorious land. And tens of thousands shall fall, but these shall be delivered out of his hand: Edom and Moab and the main part of the Ammonites. He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. He shall become ruler of the treasures of gold and of silver, and all the precious things of Egypt, and the Libyans and the Cushites shall follow in his train. But news from the east and the north shall alarm him, and he shall go out with great fury to destroy and devote many to destruction. And he shall pitch his palatial tents between the sea and the glorious holy mountain. Yet he shall come to his end, with none to help him. (Dan. 11:41-45)
The above prophecy has multiple levels of fulfillment - both on a literal and spiritual level. But look at what Israel is doing. It is isolating itself from its neighbors. Who are the descendants of the Edomites, the Moabites, and Ammonites? None other than the Palestinians. Look at what has recently happened with the overthrow of the governments in Libya and Egypt. And who from the north and east is against the policies of Israel, that have the power to stand up to the biased support of the U.S.?  Russia and China. Who, exactly, is the financial power of the world? Is this all just a coincidence? For anyone who knows this prophecy, on a literal level this Antichrist figure will be the successor power to the ancient Roman Empire and Europe. On a more spiritual level, it concerns the distortion of teachings within the Christian Church. And get this - a similar prophecy appears in the book of Revelation:
The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, to prepare the way for the kings from the east. And I saw, coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs. For they are demonic spirits, performing signs, who go abroad to the kings of the whole world, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty. (“Behold, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake, keeping his garments on, that he may not go about naked and be seen exposed!”) And they assembled them at the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon. (Rev. 16:12-16)
The above has a spiritual interpretation, concerning a spiritual battle between a New Church that worships one God in one person Jesus Christ, opposed by those who support a Trinity of three beings and justification by faith alone. Swedenborg was quite specific in his visions concerning this passage: it concerns a distortion of Christianity based on Protestant theology. And who exactly invaded Iraq, where the Euphrates resides? And what about the drying up of the river Euphrates? There seems to be a literal fulfillment in addition to the spiritual interpretation. Take a look at this, from Water War? Turkey Cuts Water Supply to Syria - Euphrates Shut Down:
Western hostilities toward Syria reached a new level of viciousness. Al-Akahbar English reports:
"The Turkish government recently cut off the flow of the Euphrates River, threatening primarily Syria but also Iraq with a major water crisis. Al-Akahbar found out that the water level in Lake Assad has dropped by about six meters, leaving millions of Syrians without drinking water."Suhaib Anjarini, Al Akahbar, May 30The water cutoff by the Turkish government caused Lake Assad to drop six feet threatening two million people in and around Aleppo, Syria's second largest city. The Euphrates originates in Turkey and also provides a critical water source for Iraq.
Turkey, a NATO member, strongly opposes to the current government of Syria. The Turkish border to Syria is a major supply route for weapons and foreign fighters against the Syrian government.
Along with China and Brunei, Turkey refused to sign the United Nation's agreement on International Watercourses. The agreement calls for the "equitable and reasonable" sharing of rivers, wither they originate or flow into a nation. In addition, the agreement states that nations shall "take all appropriate measures to prevent the causing of significant harm."
Turkey and Iraq have claimed Turkish manipulation of the Euphrates as far back as 1975. Syria and Iraq argue that years of drought conditions are caused or worsened by Turkish water policy. The outright cutoff of the Euphrates by the extremist and unstable government of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan represents a Turkish act of aggression against both Syria and Iraq.
Apparently the Turkish government plans to blame the crisis on ISIS. Which "mysteriously" popped out of nowhere and took over northern Iraq, terrorizing the Iraqi people with a radical form of Islam, probably with the tacit support of Saudi Arabia. The U.S. claims it can't do anything until it gets more "intel" in Iraq. The U.S. knows nothing of this? And the response? Only thing I have heard so far is the Prime Minister of Iraq Al-Maliki should resign. Does this response sound sort of odd? Didn't the U.S. invade Iraq to root out terrorism? And note this: see the earlier blog post: United States arming Al Qaeda to overthrow Syria. ISIS did not pop out of nowhere, it is a direct result of the civil war in Syria.

WHAT IS THE ANSWER?

The answer is simple: instead of perpetuating an endless cycle of revenge and hatred, the answer is one of love and understanding. Love the one you hate. Forgive for past offenses. Understand your neighbor and their suffering, and one will learn to love them.
